Guide Review - The A+ Exams Guide

Mr. Crayton wrote this book as a no-nonsense guide to the A+ Exams. He accomplished this objective with flying colors. The text is straight-forward and is not dummied-down as a beginner reference. One of the first things I noticed when I started The A+ Exams Guide was the section on the exam objectives. Each objective is listed along with all of the content likely to be covered for that objective on the exam. I wish all cert prep books did this. It’s nice to see such a compact reference of what to expect from the exams. Actually, the entire book does an excellent job of providing all of the information you need in a concise, organized, and study-friendly manner. After your first in-depth pass through the book, you will be able to hit small sections such as the test tips and practice questions to test your knowledge of each topic.Diagrams are used wisely throughout the book. They are all black-and-white, and while color would be nice, it would almost seem out of place in such a no-frills study guide. The text is well-written, and as far as I can tell, error-free. Overall, you will not be disappointed if you choose this as your primary study guide for the A+ exams.
