Liu Yifei: the next superstar at Hollywood
Chinese Actress Liu Yifei enjoys a soaring fame for staring as “Golden Sparrow” in the big-made movie The Forbidden Kingdom, which was released in March this year.
Liu made her debut at the tender age of 15, in a TV drama, Story of a Noble Family. She then got her leading roles in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, The Return of the Condor Heroes and The Legend of Sword and Fairy. Her cute appearance and acting skills made her a household name and one of the most popular actresses in China.
Joining the production of The Forbidden Kingdom helped her earn an international fame. She has signed with William Morris Agency, one of the top three American agencies, becoming the second Chinese Actress, after Zhang Ziyi, to sign with this company.
The mass media said that the young actress is possibly the next superstar from China to shine on international stages.
