Pass4side Hitachi Data Systems Architect - Performance and Virtualization HH0-440 Demo download
August 28, 2008 – 8:39 am
This test will verify the successful candidate has knowledge of storage performance concepts, Hitachi storage performance tools & products, standard performance analysis tools, optimal storage design principles and bottleneck analysis and resolution.
Storage performance architects need a knowledge of servers, operating systems, file systems, disk drives, Fibre Channel, host bus adapters, fabric and host, interconnect hardware, applications and virtualization in storage systems. They also need to have a deep understanding of RAID, I/O concepts and storage design principles.
Day-to-day activities include designing data storage configurations for new IT databases and applications. They assess, plan and design storage solutions to meet the business needs of Hitachi Data Systems customers. An architect can technically assess an enterprise infrastructure to create business solutions from a storage perspective. They in turn hand off the design to Implementation Specialists or Storage Managers to execute.
Audience: Hitachi Data Systems and partner consultants, architects and engineers
Prerequisite: Hitachi Data Systems Certified Professional credential
To become a Hitachi Data Systems Certified Architect - Performance and Virtualization, a candidate must pass one of the Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations certification exams in addition to passing this exam.
